Phil Ancona with his unexpected battle of Colon Cancer.

Hi, I’m reaching out on behalf of our family in regards to the unexpected news of my brother, Phil’s recent diagnosis of stage two/three colon cancer. After undergoing surgery to remove the tumor that was the size of a small Nerf ball we are relieved to share that the surgery was a success! However, the journey ahead is uncertain, and we’re asking for your help.

Phil is facing a challenging road to recovery. He will be unable to work for at least six months as he takes time to heal. Thankfully, he is currently on short-term disability, but the financial strain from medical expenses, living costs, and future treatment is a heavy burden for him to carry alone. We are uncertain what the next steps will be, as he will be undergoing further tests on April 10 th to determine if the cancer has spread to his blood, and to establish a treatment plan moving forward.

Despite the unknowns, we know that with the right treatment, support, and love, he can get through this. He is a fighter, but he needs help to navigate this next chapter of his life. We are asking for donations to help with medical bills, living expenses, and any treatments he may need as he focuses on his health and healing. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and help ease the burden during this difficult time.
