IU Little 500 Team Phi Kappa Sigma
Donation protected
We are Indiana University's Phi Kappa Sigma Cycling team for the 2018 Little 500 on April 21st. The Little 500 is the largest collegiate amateur athletic event in the country, taking place on the same bikes since the 1950's on cinder track, with over 30,000 annual spectators.
"Little 500 began in 1951 as a way to raise scholarship money for IU undergraduate students working their way through college. Since that first race, the IU Student Foundation has given more than $2 million to deserving undergrads." - IU Student Foundation
We're proud to be a part of this incredible tradition, and can't wait to reeanact the movie Breaking Away! We've been training since last April, and can't wait to ride this year. We are reaching out to alumni, family, and friends to finish fundraising, and we'd like to invite you to help us with the last stretch of our goal. This round of fundraising helps us be competitive by purchasing much needed equipment.
So what is your money going to?
Racing Rims - $1200 ($600 per set)
Tune ups - $170
Bike Parts (Pedals, headset, bearings, etc.) - $150
A portion of our team jerseys
We appreciate all donations, and are fortunate enough to have people willing to help this team make it to the track on race day. Thank you all for supporting us this season.
