Phenomenal Mother Gone but, Not Forgotten

It is with a heavy heart we share that our beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, Mary Johnson, lost her battle with cancer on Monday, August 10, 2020. 


Mary grew up in the church and was groomed early by her mother to not just attend church but, to serve while being there. She was an active member of Bethleham Baptist Church in Mansfield and served in choirs there. Mary was an extremely generous, kind and loving person to whomever she came in contact with. She spread the name and Word of God at every opportunity and even when there wasn’t an opportunity, she made one. Mary was a role model for many people during the course of her life and was a mother figure to all. She showed young women how to be women and young men how to be men. Showed people how to treat others Gods way and how to carry and take care of themselves. 

Mary fought with every fiber of her being so that she could spend more time with her loved ones but, now her suffering is over. As you can imagine, this tragedy has distressed her son and daughter left behind emotionally and financially. While nothing can replace the love, care and support Mary provided to everyone, your donations can alleviate some of the financial challenges that are inevitably faced with during this difficult time. This fund is meant to ensure that in combination with insurance, all funeral expenses can be paid for without leaving a burden.
