Words can't really describe this group of boys and the chemistry that they have. They have worked so hard and worked together like brothers. They have already gone through a lot for a nine-year-old team but they keep on playing with heart and giving their best.
The boys have practiced for hours and hours almost every day of the week for a month and they have sat through five hour rain delay's, they have played till almost 2 o'clock in the morning, they've won their district by winning every game with the ten run rule. They played a 11 inning, 3 hour and 5 minute (longest game in our League history for their age) in extremely hot weather and battled like you've never seen before. They have prayed for one another and they have prayed for their opponents . These boys have come together in ways that are simply remarkable.
They are a good team. They are even better kids.
Now we've been invited and given a wonderful opportunity to participate in the Regional Tournament in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. And we are hoping to raise funds to help them get there.
