It is with sad news to share the sun has set on our oldest brother Pheng Moua. 

In September 2020, he had a heart valve replaced and was not able to fully recover. He passed away peacefully on 1/25/2021 while in hospice care. He was 56 years old.

Pheng graduated from Frankfort High in 1986. His continued education led him to Devry University in Addison, IL where he graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. While trying to overcome illness that kept him out of the workforce since 2016, he was able to come back home to Frankfort, MI frequently to enjoy his passions of art, photography, and fishing. 

He was an avid fisherman. You could find him fishing at the end of the pier at most anytime of the day, teaching or making friendly conversations with the locals and tourists; giving his tips and fishing experiences, and sharing stories about the ones that got away. 

Any gifts small or large will be appreciated towards his funeral costs and a memorial which will be placed in Frankfort, MI where he called home.
