This fund is being created because in May I suffered a back injury and slipped the lumbar disc in my low back. I was unable to walk or stand for two months but have since been receiving spinal therapy and getting epidurals, so thankfully I am now able to stand and walk again.
As I'm sure you can imagine the medical bills are pretty outrageous, but I am also only able to work for three hours a day now, due to my back condition. This of course means I am not making nearly enough to pay for my doctor, chiropractic care and therapy, let alone maintain the bills and rent at home. I am a single mother to a wonderful 11 year old son, and need to be able to care for not only myself but his needs as well. This is why I am reaching out here.
They say "desperate times call for desperate measures" so this is me,  trying to make it work. ☺
