Pheba Methodist Church has been part of our community for generations. Though the church is no longer active, it remains deeply important to many families who grew up there, worshiped there, married there, attended homecomings there, and laid loved ones to rest from there.
The church itself carries a long history. Originally built on Henryville Road in the 1850s it was carefully dismantled and rebuilt at its current location in 1899. For well over a century, it has stood as a reminder of faith, family, and the history of the Pheba community.
Our goal is to preserve the building and grounds so this piece of local history is not lost. Funds raised will help with maintenance, repairs, insurance, utilities, cleanup, and long-term preservation efforts.
This project is especially meaningful to me personally because of the memories, family connections, and community ties connected to this church and the people who loved it.
Whether you attended services there, have family roots connected to the church, or simply believe small historic churches deserve to be preserved, any donation or share is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for helping preserve a piece of Pheba history for future generations.
