Fight with Phanz

His name is Stephan Manuel DeClue but most of us know him as DJ Phanz.  If you’ve been in or around the DFW Metroplex bars and club scene as well as the gay club scene then you more than likely know him as the man that has brought the party atmosphere.  Stephan has been a DJ in the metroplex for the last 10 years DJ-ing at bars and clubs such as Bar Louie, Best Friends, S4, Studio 80, Rainbow Lounge and many more.   You may not know his story though.  Phanz is 33 years old and a father to three beautiful boys ages 10, 9 and 4 years old.  In October of 2016 he found out he had chronic myeloid leukemia.  Not being one to ask for help or announce his illness he has mainly kept the fight to himself and close friends and family.  He has stood strong and resilient in his fight and was always embracing people with a smile.  However, about a week ago his health took a bit of a turn and he is now needing our help in this fight.  His lukemia has progressed to acute myeloid leukemia and it requires that he immediately begin chemo treatments, which started today 04/27/18.  Anyone who has been through the process themselves or with a loved one, knows that medical bills can get quite costly, as well as while in the hospital receiving treatment he has been unable to work.  And while receiving treatment even after leaving the hospital he will be limited on how much he can work.  So, we are politely asking that his friends and family come together and help him fight this fight.  Any donation, no matter the size helps, there is no donation that is too little.  Please, donate, share or repost, spreading the word helps just as much.  Thank you and God Bless.  #PhanzStrong
