Phantom Moon Productions is proud to present its first production, Bloodlesque: A Theatrical Burlesque Experience! The concept for this production came to founder Janice Kulka at the height of her studies at The ACADEMY with Black Box Acting. Her out-of-the-box thinking and previous work with several Chicago Theatres would inspire her to create a show full of theatrical effects, comedy, and burlesque. Three years ago, what started as an assignment idea brewed into a vision she could no longer hold onto and needed to share with the world. After years of pandemic life, global conflicts, and social injustices, the world deserves some escapist, fun, weird entertainment. Blood-lesque will feature drag, comedy, classic Halloween tropes, and burlesque acts that will have you begging for more next year.

 

Blood-lesque: A Theatrical Burlesque Experience is an hour-and-a-half devised Burlesque show hosted by our Halloween Icon featuring numbers with comedy, haunting visuals, theatrical surprises, and a lot of blood. We will also feature a different Guest/Drag Act every night. It will make you laugh, gasp, and shake you to your core and pelvic floor. Not for the faint of heart.

 

Phantom Moon Productions will set up a scholarship for local artists looking to produce their own work. It is important to us to give back to the community that has inspired the inception of this concept and help others brave enough to share their art succeed. This scholarship fund will help bring another artist's vision to life.

We are looking to raise $5,000 for startup funds to bring you the most spectacular experience of 2022. Funds will go directly towards the costs of costumes, props, rehearsal space, and special effects.
