So a while ago Jodie, my better half and soul mate was diagnosed with cancer.

Jodie has been receiving chemotherapy at the Nick Jonas Ward in Winchester and the staff have been absolutely amazing while I felt quite useless so I've decided I want to raise some money for the ward that fight cancer and support those facing cancer every day.

I believe you will be more prepared to donate to a good cause if the person (me) trying to raise money is suffering in some self inflicted way, so I am going to ride my 1967 10 bhp 51mph top speed (eventually) from Burnmouth to Bournemouth. Burnmouth is a little village in Scotland and Bournemouth isn't.

The ride will take about 4 days if I and the trusty 175 bantam can average 200 miles a day along the back roads as I can't use motorways.

I will be doing it at the beginning of April so it will be cold, wet and maybe even snow up North.

And just to get noticed I will be dressed as a chicken.
