On January 27, Phaedra Demers passed away after a nearly 6 year battle with breast cancer. She leaves behind two amazing and loving boys, Sylvan (11) and Quill (9) Saunders, and her devoted husband, Paul Saunders.

Throughout Phaedra’s treatment, she was singularly focused on the support and wellbeing of her boys. Phaedra’s priority was always to have as much time as possible to love her boys. Whether it was soccer games, Ninja practices, community events, or time with family and friends, Phaedra was there with the boys, smiling and sharing her joy with everyone around her.

As a mother, a friend and a passionate environmental educator, Phaedra always showed up for the people and causes that were important to her. Now, it is our turn to show up for Phaedra and her family as they embark on the journey of learning to live with her in their hearts and memories. There are many expenses that Paul will face as a single father. Your support will go to the boys to help cover educational expenses and experiences for the boys.
