Bruce Noah Langlois was born on November 29, 2020, at 25 weeks gestation, weighing in at 1 pound due to his mother's complication with pre-eclampsia and HELLP Syndrome. He spent 207 days in the NICU battling a PDA, Chronic Lung disease, months of intubation, eye injections for retinopathy, pneumonia, hernia repair, G tube placement, and multiple transfusions among other issues. He graduated from the NICU on June 23 much to the delight of his parents, Bruce and Michelle. But as fate would have it their joy, was short lived. Bruce tragically passed away unexpectedly in his sleep the morning of June 27th, just days after his son arrived home. While Noah is thriving, he still requires 24 hour nursing care, Oxygen supplementation, feeding tube, physical therapy, monitoring, and numerous doctor's visits.
