Hello!

My name is Bailey and I am here to ask for anything you can spare to help fund my top surgery and recovery period without any worries! I am very lucky to have the support of my wife and family to get me through recovery, I just need the funds to finish the job.

My confusion with gender came at an early age as a very foundational memory for me. At 6 years old, I recall sitting outside in the sun with my dad, taking my shirt off as he did, and laying back in the grass to rest my eyes. "You won't be able to do that much longer," he said, and I immediately thought how unfair, feelings of confusion and anger welling up in me. It wasn't until high school that I would revisit those feelings, deciding I was non-binary, changing my pronouns, and looking for ways to be more comfortable in my gender performance. After trying new approaches, including hormone therapy, I know what will give me the most satisfaction is top surgery. I have the appropriate documents ready and have chosen a surgeon; I will update as appointments are had and dates are set.
