Jessie Kovach Medical Fund

Reading this, you may or may not know Jessie Kovach. It is an honor to write this, but not as much as it is to know her personally. I have only worked at Primp Salon Bar downtown for a shortime, but Jessie was one of the first to welcome me into the salon family. She is one of the sweetest, most genuine and free spirited individuals, I have ever met. When she shared with me that the small lump on her neck came back positive for Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma. I felt a wave of a million emotions, angry, confused, and empathetic were among the many but i also felt a sense of determination and strength. We at primp have no doubt that Jessie is going to kick cancer's ass, but we want to come together to fight along side her in any and every way possible. it is so easy for us to sit  and say who is me, or have pity parties for ourselves over the small bumps in life- but when someone you love tells you they have cancer, it puts whats really important in life into perspective. Jessie is 27 and works as an esthetician. Since starting chemo and soon radiation, her immune system is weakening, making it harder to work, due to the exposure of germs and bacteria she comes in contact with daily. if there is any way to show our love and support for Jessie financially and emotionally- im asking if we could all look into our hearts and give whatever we are able. When you think of Jessie, think of your sister , your best friend, your daughter, the stranger that smiles at you when your having a bad day, the person your drawn to because they are one of the few in this world that make it a more beautiful and bearable place to be. She is all of those things and more and it is a true blessing to know her and call her my friend. please join me, and all of us here at Primp Salonbar as we fight along side Jessie. She makes the world too beautiful not to.
