Hi, my name is Tami Beasley and I am 53 years young. I have been battling a nerve disease since 2005.

In January of 2005, I was diagnosis with Transverse myelitis, which is an inflammation of both sides of one section of the spinal cord. This neurological disorder often damages the insulating material covering nerve cell fibers (myelin). Transverse myelitis interrupts the messages that the spinal cord nerves send throughout the body. This can cause pain, muscle weakness, paralysis, sensory problems, or bladder and bowel dysfunction.

Over the years, this disease has deteriorated the nerve cell fibers more and more. Eventually, I got so bad health wise that I ended up in an electric chair. Then later on I was then diagnosis with Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD).

Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system disorder that causes inflammation in nerves of the eye and the spinal cord in which recurrent relapses can result in cumulative disability, potentially including blindness, paralysis, and, less frequently, premature death.

Neuromyelitis optica can cause blindness in one or both eyes, weakness or paralysis in the legs or arms, and painful spasms. It also can cause loss of sensation, uncontrollable vomiting and hiccups, and bladder or bowel problems from spinal cord damage.

Relapses are common. They can be severe enough to cause permanent visual loss and problems with walking.

Over time, I have gotten better where I am able to walk on my own without assistance.

Recently, I have been excessively falling landing on my face. Since my last fall I have been relapsing backwards needing assistance to walk and other functions.

I have tried pain management, nerve ablation and a stimulator. All of these methods no longer work. I have been trying to research other cures. I came across stem cell regeneration. Stem cell regeneration helps to reduce temporary side effects and promote higher cell viability numbers, leading to greater treatment efficacy. The procedure is non-invasive and there is no pain associated with the injection of cells. I think stem cell regeneration will provide relief to my condition.

Louis A. Cona, MD, is a pioneer in regenerative cell therapy, providing the first stem cell treatments in the Cayman Islands more than a decade ago. He continues to research alternative therapies for various medical conditions.

This procedure will take approximately five days. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to pay for this procedure. The cost of this procedure is $52,000. This will cover getting a passport, airfare ticket, lodging, labs, and the procedure.

I would appreciate any help that you can give.

God bless you.
