Dear friends and family,

We are a group of close friends of the Carrasco family starting this fundraiser to help cover Jonathan and Giselle's financial expenses resulting from her current medical condition. She and Jonathan are the new parents of a precious 4-month-old baby girl. Just two weeks ago, Jonathan took Giselle to the ER with severe nausea/stomach pains. Once there, doctors identified a life-threatening heart condition. She had to be immediately admitted into the ICU and transported to Shands Hospital for open heart surgery. Due to complications, she required a second open heart surgery just two days later.

As one can only imagine, this has been the most significant, unexpected test of faith for a young couple with a new baby and their families. Jonathan has been by her side the entire time, preventing him from being able to work. At this point, our hopes and prayers are for her recovery so they can fully enjoy their precious baby together.

This fundraiser would help to compensate for their medical expenses beyond health insurance and financial needs while she recovers.
