Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time to look at this fundraiser I started for my mom, Wendy Roberts. One of life's most terrifying trials is facing a cancer diagnosis, but my mom is a fighter and she's putting in the work to kick cancer's butt! She just finished her chemo and radiation treatments, but healing from those treatments has not been easy for her. I will not go into detail here, but I can't imagine the excruciating pain involved in having your skin repeatedly burned in a sensitive area. My mom has reconnected with an old childhood friend that has done in home healthcare for many years and has been staying with my mom to get her back to good health. The reason for this fundraiser is to help alleviate some of the financial stress of paying for in home healthcare as her insurance doesn't cover this and her options were to go to a rehabilitation hospital (no one wants to go to one of those places), or pay out of pocket for in home healthcare. I truly just want her to focus on healing her body and being independent again.
