I’m almost there…

Here’s the story:
I have been working tirelessly for two years toward becoming a software developer. I finished a year long coding Bootcamp in February, but this years job market is incredibly challenging. Over the past 6 months I have completed hundreds of applications and attended dozens of interviews, including multi-stage interviews with various companies. One offer fell through at the final stage in favor of a candidate with 5 years experience, and I’m currently in week 6 of waiting for yet another opportunity to begin.
Last week I returned to doing handyman work as a source of income to tie me over, and I’m now booked for 2 months! This is the good news! The bad news? Too little too late. My car was repossessed last night, my auto insurance was dropped, I’m a few days away from my rent being late, and my cell phone, internet, and power are also just a few days shy of being turned off. (I’ve already sold any items of value such as my road bike and surplus tools.)
I am trying desperately to pull it all together but things just haven’t quite worked in my favor. (yet)
So here I am, reaching out for help. My intent is to repay anyone who can help, but if you’re able to pitch in and prefer to stay anonymous I will surely pay it forward.
Thanks for reading. ❤️
