Kaidyn Blair Medical & Family Expenses
Donation protected
Hello from the McKibbin Family!
The Blair Family are very dear to our hearts. Their son, Kaidyn Blair was diagnosed with a disease called biliary atresia before his 1st birthday.
He had a partial liver transplant just shy of his 1st Birthday in 2003.
Biliary atresia is a rare and serious liver disease that affects infants, causing blocked or abnormally narrow bile ducts inside and outside the liver. This damage can lead to cirrhosis, liver tissue loss, and scarring.
Kaidyn is now 22 years old and after a lifetime of taking anti rejection drugs his liver has deteriorated causing strain on the rest of his organs making it necessary to put him on the organ transplant list.
On March 12th he received the gift of life.
Any donations would be much appreciated to help with accommodations, medical expenses while Kaidyn recovers in London for at least a month.
Thinking of Kaidyn's donor family and hoping that they find comfort and peace in knowing that their loved one lives on. Thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough.
