On September 30, 2025 at around 10PM PST, a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck Cebu City, Philippines, leaving many families displaced and struggling to meet their basic needs.

My name is Ethel Lanada and I am facilitating a donation drive to extend help, especially to my family, friends and fellow kababayans in the northern tip of Cebu — from Medellin to Daanbantayan — where relief efforts has been limited especially in the rural areas.

With the funds we gather, we will provide:

Clean drinking water (their top need)

Easy-to-prepare food

Trapal/tarpaulin (for temporary shelter, as many are sleeping outside)

Other basic necessities

We were able to deliver the first batch of water supply, but more help is urgently needed. To ensure proper delivery, we have a trusted individual on the ground who will coordinate transportation, repacking, and distribution to the affected areas.
