Terry Smith

Hi, my name is Jazmine and I am fundraising on behalf of the Smith family. On August 31st Terrys oldest daughter Tamika Smith was notified that her father was taken to the hospital via ambulance. Only to discover that her father had suffered a heart attack at a neighbors house and the person he was with started to perform CPR without any medical knowledge and prolonged calling for help. The ambulance were able to revive him but at the hospital it was revealed that based on his brain scan he had been down for longer than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, he was declared brain dead on September 4th and passed shortly after. The family is completely devastated and feel like his death could’ve been preventable if help would’ve been reached right away. Terry was only 57 years old and no one could’ve foreseen this happening at such a young age. The family is asking for any help so they can lay him to rest and grieve without worrying about the financial burden. Anything will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
