Our hearts are broken as we try to find the words to share that our dad passed away so unexpectedly. This loss has shaken our family to the core, and every day still feels unreal without him here.

In the midst of this grief, we are facing the reality that his children and grandchildren coming from Texas need to travel quickly and find lodging accommodations during the peak holiday season to be together and to lay him to rest. The cost of last-minute flights and accommodations during this time of the year has added a heavy financial strain during one of the most painful moments of our lives.
