Hi my name is Nichole and I’m fundraising for a kidney transplant! I need to speed up the procedure because my blood pressure is extremely high my numbers run in the 200’s-230’s when I wake up and I’m terrified I will have a stroke or heart attack, it turns out your kidneys secret a hormone that controls the blood pressure they don’t just filter out your blood from potassium and phosphate and release it into urine they do much more in your body!! My mothers side has a kidney problem and unfortunately I was the one who received this hereditary trait. Please everyone reading this have your blood pressure checked at least once or twice a year because the doctors call it the “silent killer” by the time you figure out something is wrong it is to late! I also learned that your kidneys and your heart are best friends and once you damage your heart that is irreversible! I was recently told I’m having congested heart failure now and that is another reason I’m trying to fundraise the money to do the transplant as soon as possible. I will be going to UCLA to do the transplant and I will have to stay after the surgery for a few weeks to ensure that everything goes and works well after the surgery is complete!

I’m on dialysis four times a week and every time I do my treatments I feel soo bad and tired and weak afterwards and I’m only 36 years old this is suppose to be the best time of my life with my daughter Delia, whom I’m a single mother to! I use to volunteer as a cheerleading coach for 7 years for her and her friends I had so much energy to jump around and dance with them, now I’m lucky to have the energy to get up out of bed and do the simple things in life like getting dressed, making food, doing my hair and stuff like that is extremely hard when you feel like a train just ran you over! I get terrible migraines and severe chest pains from high blood pressure and I am in and out of the hospital and the ICU. The doctors tell me there really isn’t anything they can do for me until I get the transplant and this July will be two years that I will be going through this and though I have changed my eating habits to the renal diet and added exercise to my daily life it is not enough! Please help me get through this I truly appreciate all those that are able to help and those that cannot please pray for me because the power of prayer is just as powerful and very much appreciated as well Thank you all so very much for taking the time to read this and for supporting me during this time!!
