HELP WITH BILLS

UPDATE!!
This time exactly 1 month ago, Gina and I got to Dad’s apartment and met a police officer for a welfare check because no one had heard from Dad in over 24 hours. About 5 minutes passed which seemed like much longer and I finally heard my Dad’s voice from his apartment window on the 2nd floor. He somehow managed to crawl to where he heard our voices and asked who was trying to get into his apartment. I let him know it was us and then it took another 3 minutes for him to get to his door to let us in. I saw him and immediately knew something was wrong so off we went to North Suburban where they finally diagnosed him with a ruptured brain aneurysm after about 5 hours. He was transferred via Critical Care ambulance to Swedish Medical Center where he would spend the next 3 weeks in the Neuro ICU in critical condition until his strong will to live and get stronger won over that nasty blood floating around all over his body causing him to be in severe pain and extremely lethargic. After those very scary 3 weeks, he was finally moved to a regular room for about half a week before being transferred to rehab. He has done absolutely amazing in rehab and all through this last month, his nurses, doctors, therapists and even the nutritional staff had nothing but nice things to say about him and several mention that he was “a breath of fresh air!”

I am so so so so happy to announce that tomorrow, Dad will finally be going HOME!!! We are so thankful for all of the love he has received from everyone and we will continue to update everyone as he recovers from home!

Hey everyone, my name is Courtney and I am Glenn's daughter. As most know, he had a brain aneurysm rupture at the beginning of the week around 10/2. He has been in the Neuro ICU at Swedish Medical Center ever since and we are starting to see his bills pile up and want to try to get ahead before he gets way behind as he recovers. He will be in the hospital for at least another week, probably longer since he will most likely require some rehabilitation. I am hoping to get him some help so that he does not have anything to worry about other than healing when he gets out of the hospital and in the weeks/months to come before he can return to work.

He is slowly improving but will still have a long road to recover ahead of him. He's been absolutely amazing as a patient and the nurses tell us that he's a breath of fresh air when they are taking care of him!

Thank you all for the prayers, kind words and visits. He really appreciates everything!
