Funeral Expenses for Gina Campbell

This fundraiser is for my cousin Gina Campbell.

This proposed GoFundMe page has a 3,000 dollar amount set due to the time constraints that are for a funeral service on Friday (Sept 11) or Saturday (Sept12). 

Unfortunately my 
Cousin Gina doesn't have Insurance,
making all of the costs fall on our family when it was least expected. I feel that a woman that was so involved in the town, coaching sports and other activities, was hard working her entire life, loved giving comfort to others as a medical assistant at breast center in Englewood hospital, should have proper funeral. 

We want a simple one night wake...but it is expensive.

Right now she has no arrangements (her body is at the funeral home). Which is tough on her mother and children.  Many Americans live without life insurance .

All the proceed will go to funeral expenses and if there is any leftover we will donate to the either Cancer Research or a Brain trauma. We will provide any receipts upon request. So you can be assured that these funds go to the right places.

The following is a personal account from Peter Mucciolo, Gina's cousin.

The tragedy that overtook our family began when my cousin Gina had an aortic aneurism and had a miracle of being at her job which happened to be Englewood hospital and she survived within an inch of her life. Then the death of my Great-uncle Miles(Gina's father) in 2013 and then six months later my Cousin Teresa(her sister) was diagnosed with cancer and died in 2014. 

Six months later Gina had a double brain aneurism while taking care of my Great-aunt Grace. Gina survived the aneurism, but never returned home. She was hospitalized and then sent to a nursing home. She never regained speech or the ability to walk. It is almost a year.

Her family lost their apartment, her children displaced.
Her son Mikey is currently staying with us and he has been such a blessing to us. He is a big help to my Mom Joan. 

She was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2015. 
She was strong..tough as nails, but combined with aneurism her frail body could'nt take anymore.


We were awaiting tests and did not know how long it would be until my Cousin Gina until she was terminal. Not expecting another tragedy, our family was informed that she took a sudden turn for the worse and she passed away within 24 hours of the news on the morning of September 9th, 2015. My Great-aunt grace as well as Gina's children and the rest of the family has lost so many key components of family members leaving out family devastated. My cousin Michael does not have a mother or a father at age 25 due to his father passing away before he was born, as well as my cousin Jenna. My heart goes out to my Aunt Grace, all of Gina's Children, Grandchildren, Great-grandchild, friends and people of the town of Bergenfield.

I have created this fundraiser...my first one...hopefully the last one. I know Gina and if she had her wishes would want a service in which people could say goodbye to her. Also praising God for welcoming in to heaven.

Gina was a spirtual,lively, giving person full of love and wit. Her family was the most important thing in her life and her son's dog Amber...who looked so sad today.
