Mr. Oertel is an employee of Irving ISD who has been diagnosed with AML, acute myeloid leukemia, which is the most common and easiest treated type. We are asking people to help his family by donating any amount that they can.

We want to help Mr. Oertel's family offset the effects of lost wages, cost of meals, fuel, and extra medical care expenses. We want to support some of their physical and financial needs during the treatment period.
