Maggie was diagnosed with breast cancer on December 21, 2016. She completed treatment throughout 2017, and continued to go in for checkups. In October of 2020, Maggie and Brandon purchased their first home together in Machesney Park, Illinois. Maggie was having some chest pain and just wasn't feeling like herself. She thought it was stress from moving into a new home. She went to the doctor and discovered that the cancer had metastasized.

Words from Maggie-You just never know what life will hand you. We bought a beautiful new home, and then two weeks later this happens. Things can change so quickly. I am continuing to be grateful for everything and be as positive as I can. I am very thankful for my friends and family. I truly have had some of the best support during this process. I have learned throughout all of this that people go through hard times, and not everything is fair.  I have realized that it's ok to be upset if you can't find your favorite earrings, but there are much more important things happening out there. Dealing with the breast cancer was so much easier than this. Nothing in life is written in stone. Above all, please be kind to each other.

Please consider donating to help Maggie with her expenses during this difficult time. She appreciates everyone's generosity.
