On november 8th there was an accident on route 140 in Lakeville,Mass.  Darren Taylor witnessed an accident and pulled over to offer his assistance . In doing this he was hit by another motor vehicle on the highway. all he was trying to do was be a good citizen. Darren has sustained serious injury to his leg , five areas that were broken and another area shattered, causing his femoral artery to be injured and he was bleeding out ........he was very lucky he didn't die with this injury. So because of this accident Darren has been out of work and not able to receive any assistance from unemployment or disability because he was an self employed sub-contractor . This is a man who worked his whole life as a plasterer and now left with no income. Because of massachusetts laws Darren is held liable for his actions because mass says at which no point should anyone get out of a vehicle on the highway.......this is terrible Darren was just trying to help.
So his son saw this website and thought this would be perfect in trying to raise money for his dad,  who will be not able to work for a long time to come recovering from these injuries.
