Bring a small grocery store to the city of Waldo.

Greetings to the Waldo community and others who find interest in my soon-to-be local grocery store. My name is Ashley Kerney. I am a 28-year-old entrepreneur and single mother of one. I am a person filled with desire and determination when it comes to success. I am also big-hearted and have a soft spot for those in need. I do all I can when it comes to helping others with no hesitation. With that being said, it has been brought to my attention by several local residents that over the years it has been a complete inconvenience and burden that those who reside in the city of Waldo and other surrounding small towns have to drive 15–35 minutes or more to get to an actual grocery store where fresh cut meats and fresh produce are available. My goal is to bring a mini grocery store with fresh, affordable products to the city of Waldo. I understand that it may be difficult for some residents to get around due to transportation not being an option for them. A local grocery store placed directly in the middle of Waldo would help out tremendously. Not only is it walking distance for those who stay in nearby neighborhoods, but it is also an overall help to the community and surrounding areas with my low prices and convenient location. I would also offer free delivery down the line to those who are unable to leave their homes due to disabilities. It would mean the world to me if I could get support from the locals in starting my business. I understand some people are having a hard time financially, and that’s okay.
