Hello, I am Mohammad, a doctor to be. I am reaching out to you from the heart of the Gaza Strip, currently facing challenging circumstances due to the ongoing Israeli aggression. My family and I are experiencing the harsh realities of displacement and loss of life. We are living in extremely difficult conditions, struggling to meet even the most basic necessities of life amidst the continuous and relentless bombings by the Israeli forces.

Over the past few months, my family and I have been immersed in an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty, grappling with the ongoing and severe bombardment in Gaza. What were once lively streets now resonate with the sounds of suffering, and our homes have been bombed by Israel. Every day, Israel takes the lives of our loved ones, friends, and associates.

Few years ago, I had secured a scholarship to study medicine in Sudan and I studied there for nearly 4 years. However, the unfortunate circumstances in Sudan compelled me to return to Gaza. Currently, I am facing difficulties in resuming my studies in Sudan.

I have been been accepted to a university in Kyrgyzstan, where I can complete my studies without losing credit for the years I spent in Sudan. Unfortunately, financial constraints have hindered me from enrolling in the university. Similarly, the Israeli blockade and the exorbitant fees imposed on Gaza Strip residents for their exit pose significant barriers for me to pursue my studies in Kyrgyzstan.

I am reaching out to our global community with a humble request for assistance and a glimmer of hope. I am initiating a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will enable me to complete my studies and fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor. This pursuit is not only for my personal aspirations but, more importantly, to support my family and alleviate their financial responsibilities.

My parents have long harbored the dream of seeing me achieve a medical degree. My mother dedicated her life to supporting the education of myself and my siblings. Hadeel, my sister, has already attained a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and my brother Mustafa is pursuing accounting at Al-Azhar University, despite the challenges it faces, having been bombed.

I represent the great hope for my family, and your support transcends mere financial aid; it is the pathway to realizing my dream and the collective aspiration of my family for me to attain a medical degree. Your assistance will not only empower me but also significantly improve the living conditions of my loved ones.
