Kyle's Medical Fund

Kyle was involved in an accident resulting in sevre burns Saturday, March 15th in North Branch.  He was brought to Princetion Hospital, then transported to HCMC by ambuance.  He has 3rd degree burns from his knees down to his ankles on both legs. Kyle was admitted on Sunday, and had his first surgery on Monday morning  removing all of the dead tissue and burnt skin.  He has been doing physical therapy and being flushed with antibiotics to create new tissue bedding for the skin to take to.  On Monday he'll be having his second surgery, they'll be doing skin grafts from the top and side of both of his thighs.  After surgery he'll be immobilized for a week, then after a week the wraps will be removed to make sure his legs have accepted the grafts.  From there he'll resume physical therapy until he meets the criteria of the hospital to be released.  Kyle will have to walk on his own, be able to go up and down stairs, and properly dress the wounds.
