It’s time to reach out to family, friends and colleagues. My employee and very dear friend, Brett Struchen, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. This is one of the most aggressive cancers there is, and sadly, it is terminal. Life expectancy averages four to six months. Brett will be travelling back and forth to the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City for treatment. There is no cure at this time, but the trials that Brett will be involved in will help research, and may give him a little more time.
Brett is a very elite collision technician. His ability and outstanding craftsmanship bring honor to the collision repair industry. He is highly respected in the Pocatello area. Brett will be turning 49 at the end of this month.
I would like to honor Brett by raising funds for he and his wife Laurie so that they can spend quality time together, without worry, while they still can.
Please pray for Brett and his family, for they have a very long journey ahead of them. Every little bit helps and will be greatly appreciated. Donations can also be made at Cole Chevrolet, 1325 Yellowstone Ave., Pocatello, ID 83201.
As Brett says, “it’s a dead end road, hopefully the treatments will add a few blocks.”
