Hi, my name is Quinn and I am fundraising for Rocky (my girl friend and I's puppy). Rocky is a five-month-old, mixed breed dog, and has fractured the growth plate of his back right leg. I believe that it happened while playing with another dog, however, I am not entirely sure. After having it X-rayed at the vet I was informed that he requires surgery, and without it will not be able to use his leg. Unfortunately, the surgery costs between $4,500 and $5,000 and must be performed by an orthopedic specialist given the complexity surrounding a growth plate.

I am going to be a Junior at Appalachian State this fall, and this surgery is something that I cannot afford. However, I intend to do everything in my power to make sure that Rocky gets this treatment and regains the use of his leg so that he can enjoy the full life that he has ahead of him.
