Katie Tuscano Medical Fund

Donation protected
On March 6, 2015, Kathleen (Katie) Tuscano was starting her work day as usual and was waiting to turn left across traffic for a simple cup of coffee before coming to work at the Daniel J. Bakie Elementary school in Kingston, NH.  She was hit from behind by a box truck that sent her car spinning.  Using a jaws of life cutter, she was removed from her car and air lifted to Boston Medical Center where she is still in critical condition.  Katie suffered a broken neck and vertebra that are pushed against her spine causing paralysis.  The full extent of Katie's injuries is still not known.  At this time she has a collapsed lung and is on a ventilator.  She is also fighting off an infection, and is not able to be moved.  Her family is with her every day to provide her strength and encouragement.  Along with huge medical bills, Katie will need specialized equipment to help her during her long road to recovery.

This fund is to help offset some of the financial burden Katie and her family are incurring so they may all focus on recovery.  Any donation will be gratefully appreciated by the Tuscano family.  They are touched by the outpouring of love and prayers by those who know Katie.  Please help support this lovely, young educator on her very difficult journey.
