Help Milo to walk again

Milo is a 6 year old, maltipoo, who weighs 6.5 pounds. We were told Milo had a minor back problem and we always were careful with him and avoided him jumping and doing things that might hurt his back. He was having a normal life with his brother Napo. We took him to the pet groomer, a place that is aware of Milo’s back problem. We took him there on 9/22 and when we picked him up he was walking slowly and was very down. Thursday he spent the day in his bed. Friday he could not walk, he was paraplegic. His back legs did not respond.

He is a sweet and loving baby and it hurts us to see him like this. The only way that Milo might walk again is with a surgery. We took him to the Doctor in Miami and the neurologist suggested to have the surgery inmediately because Milo can still feel his legs but at some point he will lose the possibility of walking completely if the surgery is not done. You are never prepared for something so unexpected. The cost of the surgery is around $15.000 thousand dollars without medicines and recovery therapy. Any help and support will help Milo walk again.
