At just 22 years old, our beloved Zoë has been diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The diagnosis has been heartbreaking, but like our cover picture shows, Zoë continues to be her happy, positive self. She is an AMAZING daughter, big sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend! Despite this difficult & unexpected news, our family is determined to support her every step of the way.

In Dec 2023, Zoë felt a lump in her neck. After several doctor appointments a 2nd mass was also found in her chest. Additional scans & bloodwork were completed, and we received the official confirmation that she has been diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. We did receive promising news; the cancer was not found in her bloodstream! The best treatment option determined by her doctors is a chemo cocktail of ABVD. It has proven effective in treating this type of cancer. She started her therapies on March 20, 2024. Guided by her medical team, we hope to make this experience as manageable as possible. We pray for Zoë's physical and emotional well-being, and we are comforted by Jehovah's Word & the solace he offers in 1 Corinthians 1:3,4. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we may comfort others.

Although Zoë has health insurance, medical expenses are quickly accumulating. Our family is humbly asking for donations to help alleviate the financial burden. Short-term disability is not available, and she will be out of work approximately six months while she undergoes treatment and recuperates. The collected donations will be used for medical expenses not covered by insurance, co-pays, medicine, fuel for trips to-and-from the hospital, hair wraps, diet, and living expenses. Zoë shares a home with her mother, Nailyn. The living expenses are shared among them, and as you can imagine, Nailyn has been there every step, with every phone call, appointment, and now helping Zoë recover at home in-between treatments. The funds will also help lighten the load.

Zoë is a resilient warrior who is, through her own natural disposition, staying positive & happy as she navigates her new reality. We feel Jehovah's grace, guidance, and LOVE, and our faith in Him & His promise is carrying us, and her through this difficult period. This is just the beginning of her path to recovery & healing.
