Molly Mae LeBlanc was born with PKD, a fairly rare autosomal recessive disease, that often leads to significant complications as the babies grow into children and then into adults.
In October of 2016 Molly had both kidneys removed and was placed on the transplant list for both a kidney and a liver. Over the last few months Molly has battled severe infections of the liver and has spent most of her time in Texas Children's very ill.
On Thursday, March 30, 2017 Molly got the call we had all been waiting for and was taken to surgery to receive a new liver and kidney. On Sunday April 2nd, Molly went into cardiac arrest. She responded quickly to CPR and was then placed on a vent and sedated. Since then she has battled pancreatitis and is currently battling a dangerous infection. Andy, Jill and Our sweet super hero Molly need all the prayers, love, and support we can give them. We have started this account to help provide them the financial support that is needed while they are at Children's and focused of Molly's health and recovery. We appreciate everyone's concern and desire to help.
