Pewsey Vale Remote Learning Fund

With Coronavirus set to remain a challenge to schools well into 2021, the possibility that some pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds will be without the IT necessary to access online learning is still a real threat.

Pewsey Vale is one of many schools with a shortfall between the IT they can provide to their pupils and what is required for all to be connected in the event of year group closures.  That shortfall is currently 17 laptops - something which could be overcome with £5000.

I have decided to fund the purchase of a laptop and I would be hugely grateful for any further contributions - no matter how small - from friends, colleagues, family and any passing philanthropists, to get Pewsey Vale that little bit closer to being able to guarantee access to ongoing education for all of their pupils, come what may.

Although donations are welcome at any time, I am aiming to complete the supply of new machines in time for the start of the new term in January 2021.

Thank you to any and all who would like to contribute - your help is hugely appreciated by Neil Pritchard, the team at Pewsey Vale and, of course, the pupils and their families who will benefit from your generosity.
