Hi all!

for those that don’t know us, my name is Stephanie and I adopted my girl Petunia from a rescue down in Texas in May of 2021. She was picked up from a shelter having been severely underweight from being neglected and on the streets. She has been the absolute best dog and has the most incredible personality!! We have beaten heartworms already, and now we are battling a Spindle Cell Sarcoma. She was attacked by a dog back in July and since then had had a bump on her neck that turned into a growth that has become quite cumbersome. She’s not eating much, and not feeling well.

We've had vet visits for biopsies (10/6), followed by an emergency visit for a would dehiscence, and met with a surgeon today (10/12) to discuss plans for more scans and surgery. We've had a mix of negative/not great news followed by some reassurance by the surgeon today. Because it’s located right next to big arteries and veins, it’s a very delicate surgical area.

Unfortunately, all of these costs will be out of pocket and will be a big stressor for me. I work. I am NEVER someone to ask for assistance and feel very uncomfortable writing this, but if anyone has something to donate towards these costs, everything will go towards these medical bills. Petunia and I have been blessed with a large support system and are extremely grateful for all the good energy and prayers ❤️
