In August the Pettit family was honored as the 2015 Farm Family of the Year...just 3 short months later tragedy has struck. Jack Seemann, patriarch of the Pitchfork Ranch, has been diagnosed with cancer. On Tuesday 11/17/15 he was brought home from the hospital to try and regain strength enough to face what will be a difficult battle.
That same evening, Todd & Roxann's house caught fire. A chimney fire spread into the attic but was thankfully contained before anyone was hurt or the structure was completely engulfed. The degree of smoke, water & freeze damage has yet to be determined though it is expected to be significant.
