Petrol Bomb Hero and Local Businesswoman

Hi, My name is Diego Di Murro,

As most people know, my mothers shop Zia’s TakeAway on Saint Peter’s Road in Walkisntown, was attacked with a petrol bomb on Tuesday evening the 19th.

My Mam, while alone behind the counter, in her takeaway that she has put blood sweat and tears in the last 20 years, was attacked when a person ran in to the shop and threw a petrol bomb over the counter, narrowly missing her.

As seen in the video, mam ducked under the bomb and it smashes off the recently installed pizza area in our shop.

Mam, being the hero she is, as soon as it happened she reacted quickly and used her fire safety knowledge to stop what could’ve been an even worse, horrendous event.

She not only put the shop ahead of herself, she also put the safety of the four customers in the shop ahead of her own as she reachers for the fire extinguisher herself.

The reason I’m setting up this go fund me for her is to try help her in this time of stress in areas that the insurance does not cover.
