Hello, I am Gabby De Leon and I'm making this fundraiser on behalf of the passing of my mother, Petra De Leon. My mother was diagnosed with colon cancer in August of 2021. From the day of her diagnosis she fought a hard, long battle. She underwent chemotherapy and had multiple sessions. It wasn't until a few months ago that she got worse. She was mostly in bed and too weak to get herself up. She completely stopped eating and had a cough which would tire her out. She was in pain the last months of her life which was tough to see but there's a sense of relief knowing she's no longer constanly suffering. My family would profoundly appreciate any form of donations for the memorial service. Thank you to those who are by our sides in this time of need.

Hola, soy Gabby De Leon y estoy haciendo esta recaudación de fondos en nombre del fallecimiento de mi madre, Petra De Leon. Mi madre fue diagnosticada con cáncer de colon en agosto de 2021. Desde el día de su diagnóstico libró una dura y larga batalla. Se sometió a quimioterapia y tuvo varias sesiones. No fue hasta hace unos meses que empeoró. Estaba mayormente en la cama y demasiado débil para levantarse. Dejó de comer por completo y tenía una tos que la cansaba. Tuvo dolor los últimos meses de su vida, lo cual fue difícil de ver, pero hay una sensación de alivio al saber que ya no sufre constantemente. Mi familia agradecería profundamente cualquier forma de donación para el servicio conmemorativo. Gracias a los que están a nuestro lado en este momento de necesidad.
