Petra has been an amazing Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, Cousin, Friend and Beloved Care Provider to endless families and ladies whom have dementia. She was a true team player and beloved by her colleagues for over 5 years at Silver Oak Country Estates in Vista California. Her daughter, Kelly, age 13, has won the hearts of so many families and residents over the years. She participated in arts crafts and many other activities of daily living.
Petra and her husband Rey were victims of a DUI accident on Tuesday, Feb. 5th in Oceanside, CA. Along with Petra and Rey, 4 other family members(13yr old daughter Kelly and Petra’s parents and sister) were also in the car when a driver ran a red light and T-boned their sedan. Sadly, Petra, her mother, and sister were killed in the accident. Rey, Kelly and Petra’s father are all recovering in the hospital.
Petra and Rey, both hard working, have raised two amazing children TONY and KELLY. Both are genuine, loving and well-established children to secure the future of this world. Petra’s parents, as well as her sister, were here in California visiting to spend some special time before Spring came. The family’s tragic death in Oceanside on Tuesday has led us to tragically mourn their loss. So many lives forever devastated -we will miss Petra and her family.
Please add Rey, Kelly, and Tony, and their families to your prayers - daily. If possible, Please donate! They have 3 beautiful lives to lay to rest … children to raise and families to survive this difficult time.
Again, we are asking for prayers to help this family who has lost 3 beautiful women. Petra’s father is still in ICU and her husband, Rey is also recovering in the hospital. They will need all the support they can receive to raise both Tony & Kelly. Furthermore, Kelly has visualized herself achieving her dream of becoming a trauma surgeon and Tony finishing Engineering School.
