Peto & Jose are two brothers born and raised in a tiny seaside fishing village on the Azuero Peninsula of Panama (A very rural location, some six hours driving from Panama City.) Peto, 19, and Jose, 16, are both on the Panamanian surf team and compete every chance they get. Unfortunately, their opportunities to compete are extremely limited due to financial hardship. This GoFundMe page’s purpose is to raise money so Peto & Jose can be outfitted with proper equipment, travel to local and regional surf competitions, and try to achieve their dreams of being pro surfers.
Both of these young men are great kids, they are serious, humble, and they rip! Peto and Jose were both Panama Junior champions (under age 18) and Peto, now as an adult, needs our donations so he can travel to and compete in the Qualifying Series of the World Surf League. The next events are in Ecuador this June 2021. Donations will be forwarded directly to Floricita, their mother, who seems to work 24/7 to support the surfing ambitions of her two awesome kids.
