Petey takes on cancer, round #2

Hi, my name is Sharon Hodge and this is Petey.

 

Petey is the sweetest gentleman and loves his mom, dog sister- Olive (also a cancer survivor) and making new friends wherever he goes! Petey brightens the day of everyone who knows him with a genuine joy for life and tippy-tappy dance for every interaction.

Petey beat mass cell cancer in October of 2019. I have intensely monitored his health through frequent checks at the vet ever since. Petey started having some health concerns in July 2021 and was checked by four different vets from July-December who did not detect cancer. He went to vet specialist in January 2022 where he was diagnosed with b-cell lymphoma.

 

Petey has been with me for the better half of a decade as my best friend through it all. He has been my main comfort through losing my mother to cancer, getting let go from my career job, and two cross country moves.

 

Petey’s current treatment is an aggressive chemo once a week through Blue Pearl Lafayette. So far he is doing well on the treatments and continues to improve with each week. Since this is not Petey’s first rodeo, I could really use help to pay for this treatment. Any help at all is highly appreciated!
