My closest friend...

My husband, first love and father of our two children and grandfather to our seven beautiful little ones, Peter Andrew Johnson, died suddenly of a heart attack in Portland, Oregon, on November 18.

During our time together, he taught me so much. His love for fine dining helped make him an incredible chef. I remember him making the best gourmet food out of whatever we had in our cabinets.. which made it perfect. I was never a fan of cooking. Burning pots was what I was known for, so I left the cooking to Pete.

Pete has always had my back. ALWAYS. He was fearless and strong. Even when we separated and went on different paths, we stayed close and co-parented until now. Throughout those years, I could always rely on Peter's word. If he said he'd get it done, he was already halfway through the action.

I will deeply miss this intelligent, loyal, loving man, and I ask for assistance in giving him a proper farewell with our two children and all of his loved ones.

I need help getting from Atlanta, Ga, to Portland, Oregon, and paying for additional funeral expenses.

Round Trip: $900 (possible grieving fare: $800)

Accommodations: $150 / 7 days

Cremation Cost: $2,500
