Pete's 4th Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer this Christmas

Hi. My name is Michael Mota and I wish I wasn’t writing this. My friend for over 20 years is currently a 3x - Stage 4 Cancer Survivor and one of the nicest human beings I have ever met. Last week, he found out the cancer has returned and now has to fight to be a 4x - Stage 4 cancer survivor. Can you imagine during the Christmas season getting this news and now your only worry during Christmas is preparing for the fight of your life?

Most of us will never have to deal with this, and we should all be that lucky. Pete starts his chemo on Monday at Dana Farber in Boston. He still has the port in his chest from years ago “just in case” it came back. Pete doesn’t complain. Pete doesn’t ask for anything. Pete is an angel.

I can’t stand around seeing him suffer physically, mentally, and financially. The only thing I can do is stand by him and keep him focused on fighting. Financially, I will continue to help him and I’m asking you to help with whatever you can. Everything helps and 100% will go directly to offset his bills during this tough time. He did NOT ask me to do this, and he was humbled that I offered to do it. Times are tough for everyone, but right now it’s toughest for Pete.
