Peters-McDonald Flood, Castleton, NY

Our friend Maureen Peters-McDonald grew up in her parents' home in Brookview and it is now her home. With recent rains, the banks of the Moordenerkill flooded in a way they have never seen before, to the point at which they had to escape in waist-deep water in the middle of the night. Flooding in her home has ruined most of their possessions including her car and have displaced 6 family members including their grandson.
