Peter was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer September of 2014. This is a journey that no one plans for. This disease effects primarily older men in their late 60's. We never imagined this would effect Peter.  A strong 43 year old with no prior symptoms or signs of poor health. Here we are 2 months into this fight and attacking this one step at a time. 
Numerous friends and family always ask "what can we do?"  We were strongly encourage to start a fund in Peter's honor. This fund will help us pay the mounting medical expenses that we are now incurring. Peter has completed his 5 and half weeks of chemo and radiation.  Now its a matter of dealing with the aftermath of these chemicals that have robbed Peter of his physical health, emotional well being. 
Peter has now been placed on high doses of pain medication and had to face the reality of his inabilty to work. Peter is self employeed and struggles with the fact he potentially will not be able to return to work for 
the next 6 months or more.  So now we have to face the fact that bills are going to add up and we need help and support through this time.  We give our faith and hope that god will bless us with all that we will need during this time.
