The Petersburg Preservation Task Force (PPTF) is moving forward in getting Petersburg's Museums open for visitors! The Exchange Building, home of the Siege Museum has been closed for almost two years. Its closure was predicated on several mistaken assumptions, including:
*the building was structurally unsound
*there were insurmountable costly environmental issues
*the cost of renovation would exceed $1 million
